Century of growth
Progress with diversity
Tradition maintained
Davis decades, ten
Undergraduate years, four
Aggie Pride, priceless
Ready the sling shots
Mix of fear and excitement
Tube socks fill the sky
The ghosts of Toomey
Have a new place to dwell at
Aggie Stadium
Hut, nineteen oh eight
Hut, twenty oh eight, blue, gold
Hike, goes long. …Touchdown!
Cheering Aggie fans
One hundred years and counting
Bleeding blue and gold
Across Davis Quad
the fall afternoon sunlight
warms my “what if” thoughts
River runs through it
Kind of, algae laden pond
Quacking hilly lawn
Bicycles en masse
Century old tradition
Crashing in circles
Aggies Beat Sac State
An annual tradition
Like Sun rotation
Aggie tradition
One hundred years of learning
Just the beginning…
Fresh dew on the ground
Racing around Toomey Field
Its more quiet now
Halftime, what’s in store?
Is that a whole pizza pie?
Can I have a slice?
Davis blue and gold
The spirit within us all
A place I call home
Davis Aggie Pride
It runs through each one of us
And will never fail
Friends of blue and gold
Alma mater’s story told
A century old
The harvesters roll
Through valley tomato fields
Thanks to Aggie thoughts
Aggie Stadium
Alive with new Aggie Pride
next century starts
Alma mater love
Hundred year institution
Aggies plow future
Picnic Day arrives
People come from far and wide
Celebrate the scene
Aggie Pride lives here
Wear your Aggie blue and gold
Go Ags beat Sac State
Eggheads glistening
The arboretum blooming
Watertowers glow
UCD Aggies
One hundred years and counting
Growing world leaders
Fistulated cow
Things you never thought you’d see
Picnic Day special
Best years of my life
Academics, sports and bikes
UC Davis pride
Duck duck duck duck goose
Roosters chickens cross the road
Cars stop but bikes don’t
Faculty, students
Knowledge created and shared
Knowledge goes forward
Dairy on campus
Next to the dormitories
Got Smell? And fresh milk
Perched by the hundred
Crows in the dense trees; you clap!
And like rain, they crap
Let there be light since
Davis’ birth, 100
Years service to Earth!
Davis Campus taught
one hundred years of students
thinking skills they sought
Oak trees line the Quad
Lazy day warmed by the sun:
Oh, Shi_! My Chem test!
Centennial signs
UC Davis party time
Aggies on my mind
UC Davis rules
Aggies passionate and cool
Great old land grant school
CoHo and the Quad
Summer concerts in the night:
Good times at Davis.
501 Russell
One year; lifetime memories
A greek life well lived.
Backpack through Europe
A post-grad journey well-earned
Aggie Pride indeed.
Out Hutchison Drive
Tractors, trucks, cars and bikes
Growing food for life
Scorching summer suns
Windy wet whooshing winters
Hundred year climate
Socks and Birkenstocks
Centennial clock tick-tock
Aggies don’t wear out
Block C A before
Block C A forever more
Cowed and plowed for sure
Fear my Aggie pride
Davis plates on my Bentley
Skatin’ twenty-twos
UCD stands for
Under Construction Daily
That’s a good thing, right?
Always healthy food
The Davis Student Co-op
Good friends for life!
Whole Earth Festival
Need I say anything else
Life celebration
Picnic Day for all
Friends, free hot dogs and football
Alumns heed the call
A S U C D
Long Debates in the Mee Room
Resolutions passed!
Followed horse mascot
To secret winter banquet
Sworn to number nine
Fall Causeway Classic
Sac State Soucks the Big One Ooh
Go UC Davis
I’m an Ag always
not just when celebrating
the centennial
Egghead irony
Theibaud’s sugar confections
Aggie artistic eye
edible foliage
hobbit homes and a bike church
only at Davis
My dad farmed the Quad.
I designed machinery.
My sons farm info.
Emil was so right.
About students being first.
Wisdom. Thanks Emil.
A.M. formation
5 mile run and pushups
Thank you Coffee House
Its not big and new
Instead it has history
Good ol Hickey Gym
You get used to it
They say my dorm is the worst
Tercero, you stink
New MU is nice
Wow, I get my own office
Do the students know?
Bang the gavel down
Senate meeting running long
We’ve got other plans
The bikes still go ’round
Blue and Gold still shine proudly
One hundred still strong
Leafy tree lined streets
Freshman girls in Spring dresses
Davis Memories
Nothing quite compares
To flying candy and socks
On cool autumn nights
Aggie pride runs deep
Like the roots of mighty oaks
In shady Shields Grove
heat shade quad green trees
wellman bainer olson pigs
games movies beer ags
late assignment due
poem of davis, gold and blue
perfection haiku
The Lincoln Highway
Over a century old
Links two great places
Coho Iced Coffee
Centennial Walk Morning
It’s Fall on the Quad
Horses and hoedowns
Helped build an institution
For the centuries
Chancellors Freeborn,
Mrak, Meyer, Vanderhoef all
milked cows, except Hullar
Celebrate today
One hundred years – whoopee!
Future calls us, now
Happy Hundred Time
Aggie Pride U C D Love
Bikes, Trees, memories
to one hundred more
sword and sandals don’t keep score
we add to the lore
One double zero
At the 95616
Fo shizzle yo dizzle
A true legacy
think tank of innovation
Study hard, play hard
We ride in Davis
A Hundred years more to come
Bikes all around town
Eating on the Quad
Crossword in the back of class
Ah, I miss Davis
“Hi Aggie” spirit
Honor system holds our pride
That’s the way it was
Bicycle – explore
Olives plopped on quiet paths
Stop for cherries – yum!
Ducks in dorm hallway
“Study Table” – time to work
Do ducks go to school?
Arboretum ducks
Raucous quacks, fast swimming feet
Golden sunset, peace
Dean, Emil, Gene
Breakfast Stories El Rodeos

There was an Aggie
Blue Gold Pride Hard Working True

We have only just begun
Aggie Family Pride!
Coffeehouse signage
“No munch money accepted”
New frosh tradition
Painting yourself blue
UCD fan through and through
Love for Aggies true
Beautiful campus
Quad cork oaks long-enduring
My time was too swift
Century of school
Centennial of learning
Repetitive, yup
Graduation day
Joyful friends departing soon
Amazing, but true
Rain comes down in sheets
The dreaded Freshman Bike Stripes
Flash out like light beams
loving the coho
celebrating forty years
within a hundred
the truest Aggies
call Social Sci the “Death Star”
up for hide and seek?
the greatest danger
a freshman learning to ride
just go with the flow
friends with many views
late nights spent studying at Shields
cozy college town
Yo, one double oh
Gotta go, ya know, flow, flow
Blue to the gold, word
ducklings hatching soon
it’s the highlight of the spring
a new year goes by
one hundred years down
cal davis pride, tried and true
one hundred to come
Centennial walk
Shade of trees anchored beneath
Leaves whispering above
Aggies, we’re so odd
Working hard to help others
For such little pay
